Growth hormone releasing factor

Growth hormone releasing factor (GHRF) is made up of a peptide chain containing 44 amino acids and causes the release and synthesis of growth hormone, in most species. GHRF is synthesised by neurons in the arcuate nucleus of the hypothalamus[1].
