Physiotherapy helps to restore movement for individuals suffering from an injury, illness or disability. They achieve this through exercise, movement, education and advice. Physiotherapy is useful if there is problems affecting:
- Bones, joints and soft tissue (e.g. back pain, sports injuries)
- Brain or nervous system (e.g. Multiple Sclerosis)
- Heart and circulation (e.g. heart attack recovery)
- Lungs and breathing (e.g. Cystic Fibrosis).
