ADP-ribosylation is where ADP-ribose polymers are covalently bonded to a protein.[1] There are a number of ways in which we can detect proteins which have been ADP-ribosylated, for example there are a number of proteomic approaches. some of these include; using antibodies specific to ADP-ribose and boronate affinity chromatography, or by using protein microarrays, which is a more recent method[2].
