HINDIII is a type II deoxyribose restriction endonuclease[1] found in the bacteria Haemophilus influenzae[2]. It recognises the double stranded DNA pattern AAGCTT and cleaves after the first A. HINDIII requires Mg2+ as a co-factor[3].
