Microtubule motor protein

Microtubule motor proteins are motor proteins that move along microtubules[1]. There are two types of microtubule motor proteins; kinesins and dyneins[2]. Kinesin and dynein, the prototypes of microtubule motor proteins, move along microtubules in opposite directions—kinesin toward the plus end and dynein toward the minus end[3].
