Animal cells are eukaryotic cells with a variety of membrane-bound Organelles situated in a Cytosol that is contained within a Phospholipid bilayer. Due to the fluidity of the cells' membrane, animal cells often have irregular and non-permanent shapes which can change depending on the net movement of water into and out of the cell by Osmosis through its semi-permeable membrane. Organelles wthin animal cells include; Mitochondria, Ribosomes, a Nucleus, the Golgi apparatus, Lysosomes and the Endoplasmic reticulum.
